Flexibility in Wood Veneer

Flexibility in Wood Veneer explores the versatility of natural wood veneer and how innovative veneer construction techniques can expand design possibilities. Participants will learn how ultra-thin wood veneers can be bonded to a variety of substrates to create functional, visually appealing interior applications while making more efficient use of natural resources.

The course covers veneer slicing, matching, assembly, and fabrication techniques, along with considerations for specifying wood veneer in interior environments. Participants will also explore how wood veneer can be incorporated into sound-absorbing architectural products and other applications where aesthetics, performance, and material efficiency are important.

This CEU provides designers and architects with practical knowledge to confidently evaluate and specify wood veneer for a range of interior applications.

Wall Panel Systems for Contemporary Interiors (Course #1)

PSI Wall Panel Systems are a fully integrated Division 9 wallcovering finishes solution, offering a streamlined approach to interior surface design while eliminating the need to coordinate multiple suppliers for various materials and finish elements.

Laminate Wall Panel Systems (Course #2)

This course provides a comprehensive overview of engineered wall panel systems, with a focus on laminate-faced panel solutions used in commercial interiors.

Participants will explore the construction and performance differences between Thermally Fused Laminate (TFL), High-Pressure Laminate (HPL), and Compact Laminate systems, gaining a clear understanding of how each material impacts durability, maintenance, and long-term performance. 

The course also examines the components of a fully engineered wall panel system, design considerations that influence project costs, and the most appropriate interior applications for each laminate panel type—equipping design professionals to make informed specification decisions.
